The Glory gründeten sich 1986 in Leicester (ursprünglich als England’s Glory), 1987 spielten sie einige Songs für den dritten Teil der „Skins’n’Punks“ Reihe auf Oi! Records ein (teilte man sich mit den Holländern von Magnificent). Prominentestes Bandmitglied ist vermutlich Gitarrist Mark Magee, bekannt durch seine Mitwirkung bei Condemned 84, den Anti-Heros, Jack the Lad etc. 1990 lösten sich The Glory auf, mittlerweile haben zwei Originalmitglieder eine Reunion auf die Beine gestellt.
„We are what we are“, 1988 auf Link erschienen, enthält 12 famose Skinhead-Stomper (inklusive dem Sham-Cover „Ulster boy“ und dem Instrumental „Gloy of Oi!“) im originalen 80er Sound: Unpoliert, roh und gleichzeitig melodisch. Starke Refrains, stampender Drum-Beat, druckvoller Basslauf. 150 copies in blau, neues Cover-Artwork & 2 Bonus-Tracks (vom „Skins and Punks" Vol. 3“).

The Glory founded in 1986 in Leicester (originally called England's Glory), 1987 they played some songs for the third part of "Skins'n'Punks" series on Oi! Records, a (teamed up with the Dutch boys Magnificent). The most prominent band member is probably guitarist Mark Magee, best known for his involvement in Condemned 84, the Anti-hero, Jack the Lad etc. 1990 the Glory broke up, meanwhile two original members have made a reunion.

In the original 80’s sound: Unpolished, raw and catchy at the same time.
