EPIC PROBLEM was formed in New Mills, southern of the industrial area of Manchester. So it's no wonder they don't sing about summer, sun and party - just like many other bands of the "No Future Records" era did.
Bands like ATTAK or the almighty BLITZ, just to name a few. Side note:
EPIC PROBLEM guitar player Mackie played with BLITZ back in the days.
As said before, the sound on their self-titled 7" is very british, just like CRIMINAL CLASS combined with LEATHERFACE plus a bit of newer american punk like TIME AGAIN. If you like bands such as SPECIAL DUTIES, CRUX or THE BLOOD - you will love EPIC PROBLEM - real street punk!

Frühachtziger UK-Punkrock mit dicker Oi! Note, Songs, die auch auf einem der klassischen "Oi! The Rarities" Samplern eine gute Figur gemacht hätten.
EPIC PROBLEM kommen aus New Mills südlich des Industriegebietes von Manchester. Das dort keine Musik über Sommer, Sonne und Erdbeereis gemacht wird haben schon andere Bands aus der "No Future Records" Ära klargemacht. Namen wie ATTAK oder vor allem BLITZ - übrigens die Band, in der kein geringerer als Gitarrist Mackie vor seiner Zeit bei EPIC PROBLEM gespielt hat. Der Sound auf dem Debüt von EPIC PROBLEM geht allerdings eher in Richtung CRIMINAL CLASS gepaart mit LEATHERFACE plus dem Drive von neueren Bands wie TIME AGAIN.
