Good and new fanzines are needed in this country. Especially in times like these shutdowns. A little reflection and deceleration is good for everyone.
Anyone who knows Matze from Hof, Germany's toughest punk rock basement with its concerts, knows what's coming to him here.
Long before that, he was very active with his Oi! Shop label and mail order in the mid-00s.
But back to issue no. 1 of Punk! Oi! Ska! Fanzine and let's let Matze speak for himself:
"It's 100 pages DIN A 5. Since there are/were practically only neo-Nazi Oi / Skinhead and now even Nazi Punk zines (apart from yours (Lockenkopf Fanzine) and Chelsea's Choice (which I unfortunately don't know yet) and of course a few Punk / HC Zines), I somehow had to do something. This is the first strike.
Topics include:
Interviews: Zehnagel Records (Punk Label), Fuck 0 € (Punk Hessen), Soul Radics (Ska / Rocksteady), Oier Problem (Oi Band from Koblenz)
Other reports and thoughts, among others, about Skinheads in China, Punk not Profit, Self-organization / DIY
Other topics: Reckless Upstarts Tour 2020 (Oi / Streetpunk Canada), SHARP Frankfurt / Main, CD etc. reviews. Fanzine reviews, Ultrash Festival, Main Punk Festival, Dreckig & Bunt Festival (formerly known as Eichigt Festival), Concerts in Plauen.
Fanzine is 100% DIY produced and self-stapled with a long arm stapler 😄 (that's what they're called).
The zine is supposed to change something in the Punk and Oi / Skinhead scene. And at least encourage people to think who still have something in their head. Originally had 140 pages, but had to cut them down to 100 pages. But I can also incorporate those things into the next issues little by little. Everything easy."
