The classic from 1997 - a standard! Lots of recipes from punk rockers... not just for punk rockers. Ruthlessly tested in everyday life. With music.
Tasty, meatless, good. Suitable for novice, but vegetarian, cooks as well as for ambitious amateur chefs, male or female. Delicious!
There are many vegetarian and vegan cookbooks. However, this is the first cookbook by punks, but not only for punks! For many issues, the vegetarian recipe page has been a firm fixture in the punk and hardcore fanzine Ox. For the book, the best recipes were collected along with cooking instructions from bands, record labels, and scene luminaries and served with a delicious cover and illustrations by artist Ole.
Emphasis was placed not only on understandable, easy-to-follow cooking instructions (even mass-compatible recipes for "Volxküchen" were considered), but also on the fun of cooking: All recipes are provided with suitable music tips and, above all, are written in a very entertaining way.
15 x 21.5 cm, 190 pages.

The press about Ox-Kochbuch 1:
"A punk does not live by beer alone. He also enjoys Halloween soup with pumpkin, Popeye pancakes, and spaghetti." (Prinz)

"Ever cooked for an entire band? With musicians, light and sound engineers, roadies, agents, and friends, 35 people can quickly gather. No problem with the Ox-Kochbuch!" (Brigitte Young Miss)

"Even in German living-room kitchens, punk can now take off: Because the 'Ox-Kochbuch' reveals on nearly 180 pages how to conjure up delicious shared flat or community kitchen dishes from international vegetables and spices. Motto: 'Eat no shit.'" (Berliner Kurier)

"Now there is finally the ultimate punk rock food D.I.Y. bible. In addition to many of their own recipes, there are plenty of guests, both VIPs and NIPs, who share their vegetable broths. I guess in the future, some pizza taxis will not be called at all." (Plastic Bomb)
