Riff Raff Fanzine - Issue 1 May 2021 (lim. 100)

Man, was I excited when I opened the letter containing the very first Riff Raff Fanzine ever. Visually alone, the cover really makes an impression, and the bands printed on the front page also make you want to dive in. It becomes clear after just the first few pages that the first impression is not misleading. Both in terms of content and visually, Riff Raff really has a lot to offer. What fascinates me is that you can tell how much passion and time creator Tobi put into the zine on each of the 52 full-color printed A5 pages. You can only take your hat off to that – from fans for fans, that's exactly why fanzines were created and are still absolutely relevant even in the age of social media. The interviews alternate between English and German. Riff Raff Zine spoke with Gulch, Pummel, The Special, and Bombs. In addition to the band interviews, there's also a worthwhile interview with tattoo artist Hilde Neunteufel. In addition to the interviews, Riff Raff also includes individual reviews, such as those for Change, Better Run, Dregs, or Chubby & The Gang, to name just a few. As mentioned at the beginning: Absolutely fantastic! According to Tobi, a continuation of the first issue is already in the works, which I'm really looking forward to.
