VOM were the precursors to ANGRY SAMOANS, still with Richard Meltzer (among others, MC at the SEX PISTOLS gig at Winterland) on vocals. Lyrically, all taboos were heavily gnawed at; it would be unthinkable (and no longer necessary) nowadays. Of course, their magnificent "Live at Surf City" 5-track 7″ from 1978, originally released on WHITE NOISE, is included.
