Anvil - Old Iron Newly Forged 2LPs (lim. white)

Amboss is the new band of Toxpack & Bierpatrioten singer Schulle, together with other friends and guests who have been involved in many hot projects in the German punk and Oi! scene over the last decades. In 2026, they re-forged 20 old irons together. Their debut album will be released as a double album featuring songs from their youth by bands from East and West Germany, plus a special bonus cover of a US hardcore classic.

The approach for "Altes Eisen neu geschmiedet" (Old Iron Re-forged) was clear from the start: these great old classics don't need a polished, high-gloss "Oi!" production! Raw, honest, and brutal was the motto, and the result ultimately speaks for itself. Not only those who remember lovingly self-compiled tape compilations from the old days will fondly recall this formative time and love the album for it!

Since summer 2025, Amboss has selected twenty songs, which was a challenge in itself, as it felt like there could have been a hundred that not only shaped the band but also made "punk history": classics, forgotten treasures, and often rarities by bands such as Toxoplasma, Broilers, Daily Terror, Verlorene Jungs, Troopers, Springtoifel, Zusammrottung, and Lokalmatadore, as well as Madball.
