Germany in the 22nd century: Under the pretext of protecting the population from diseases and crimes, the government has a microchip implanted in the brains of its citizens, whose activities are coordinated via a WLAN connection by government-compliant administrators. In addition to monitoring metabolic processes and diagnosing emerging diseases, this chip functions as a receiver and transmitter of all sensory impressions of its "host."
Protests against a legal obligation to have the chip implanted quickly die down. The acceptance of large parts of the population goes hand in hand with an enormous improvement in their quality of life.
However, not all people benefit from the new conditions. For those living on the fringes of society, the much-praised innovation does not promise an improvement in their overall situation.
Those who rebel against these grievances are arrested and brought to areas separated by the government.
The B-Districts.
Known as prisons without walls in popular parlance, the inmates live cut off from the outside world. While the government is praised for upholding the laws, the reality is different. Hunger, cold, and bloody power struggles of competing gangs are on the agenda, terrorizing the remaining prisoners with unimaginable brutality.
Alexandra and Mike are two of these inmates. When they meet the mysterious David, events escalate, and a battle for bare survival begins for the two.
